Man. Now’s the time to start simply rounding up Muslims in Britain, France, etc., and just shipping them back where they came from in containers. “Innocent” Muslims along with the supposed bad guys. All of ’em, wholesale. If the “good” Muslims began policing their own instead of acting as enablers, the savages who planted bombs in London just might not have been able to do it to begin with. And the “culturally sensitive” loony left enables the jihadists to hide in amongst the populace in general, what with accusing anyone who speaks the truth about The Religion of Hate being accused of committing hate crimes with truth.

Check that. Don’t send ’em all back where they came from. The major funding for Islamic terrorism is from the Saudis. Send al the Muslims there. Blockade the place and don’t let ’em out. let the Saudis feed (and water!) ’em all. Since water’s in short supply in that area of the world, sell the Saudis water. At $55.00 a barrel… or whatever the going rate for oil is.

Well, yesterday, if the recorded times of my posts were any hint to folks, was officially a VBD (very busy day) filled with IOPs (inportant offline projects) where I was not even in sight of my own computers or anyone else’s nearly all day, and after finishing I was officially TPTP (too pooped to post) a single word. (Sorry, R’Cat.)

Today looks to be much the same, although I have managed this wee break.

This post will stay on top through July 4, 2005. Between now and then, I plan on pointing out several issues in today’s society that this document seems to address… The first one I’ll simply issue as a question, here. (Other updates will intervene here as I post them.)

4.) “,,,For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent… “

Now, here the electorate (that’s you and me) can accept full blame for “taxation without representation” for we have allowed the shysters, thieves, poltroons and mountebanks that comprise the overwhelming majority of congresscritters to tax us indirectly without our informed consent. It is our (as the citizenry as a whole) laziness, greed and poor citizenship that has allowed our congresscritters to get away with it.

You don’t want to pay your own taxes AND the taxes of every single business you buy from? Fine. Let it be known to your congresscritters. Campaign for someone who will work for honesty and transparency in taxation.

As for the followup to the taxation issue (denial of trial by jury), well, citation of just one “rule” is enough to prove the case:

There are no Tax Court juries.

Now, that’s an abomination.

3.) “…He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance…”

I was going to list agencies that “eat out [our] substance” and “harass our people” here, but when the list of such grew to over 1,000, I figured it’d be far too long to read…

Only a very few of the agencies of the Federal Gummint have honest Constitutional purposes or authority, and most of those are related to military or foreign relations. The rest are largely just Alexander Hamilton’s dreams come true.

2.) “…He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us…”

Let me simply and easily falsify the idea that the Federal Government we have is heir to the Founders with three minimal citations of murder and abduction by Federal government officials:

Until those responsible for these acts—and their minions, such as Lon Horiuchi—have been brought to justice, it stands as demonstrable that the Federal government “…has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of its Protection and waging War against us…”

1.) Where, among today’s congresscritters, could 56 people be found who understand and could honestly echo these words?

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence , we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor .”

“Sacred Honor” among the thieves, poltroons and mountebanks largely populating today’s Congress? Finding such would be a daunting task indeed, on the order of Lot’s serach for three good men in Sodom and Gomorrah or Diogenes’ search for an honest man…

A couple of brief thoughts for the Fourth

From George Washington’s resignation as commander of the Revolutionary Army in 1783:
“I now make it my earnest prayer that God would have you, and the State over which you preside, in his holy protection; that he would incline the hearts of the citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to government, to entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another, for their fellow-citizens of the United States at large, and particularly for brethren who have served in the field; and finally that he would most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind, which were the characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed religion, and without an humble imitation of whose example in these things, we can never hope to be a happy nation.”
And, Washington’s Innagural Address to Congress in 1789:
“Such being the impressions under which I have, in obedience to the public summons, repaired to the present station, it would be peculiarly improper to omit, in this first official act, my fervent supplications to that Almighty Being who rules over the universe, who presides in the councils of nations and whose providential aide can supply every human defect, that His benediction may consecrate to the liberties and happiness of the people of the United States a Government instituted by themselves for these essential purposes; and may enable every instrument employed in its administration to execute with success, the functions allotted to his charge.
In tendering this homage to the Great Author of every public and private good, I assure myself that it expresses your sentiments not less than my own; nor those of my fellow-citizens at large, less than either. No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than the people of the United States.
“Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency; and in the important revolution just accomplished in the system of their United government, the tranquil deliberations and voluntary consent of so many distinct communities, from which the event has resulted can not be compared with the means by which most governments have been established, without some return of pious gratitude, along with an humble anticipation of the future blessings which them past seem to presage.

(Note to the ACLU and the SCOTUS: you’re both wrong about the First Amendment and religious expression.)

Bloggers’ FEC Pledge

Note in my sidebar. It bears repeating as we approach Independence Day:

“If the FEC makes rules that limit my First Amendment right to express my opinion on core political issues, I will not obey those rules.”—Patterico. Check that. I will spit on those rules and throw them back in the FEC’s face.

Repeat after me:

If President Bush hascommitted an impeachable offense against his office and the Constitution he has (twice) sworn to uphold, it was signing the UNconstitutional McCain-Feingold law into effect.

And if there is any cause that would justify sending John McCain back to prison in North Vietnam it would be his sponsorship of that abortion of the First Amendment right to free speech and a free press he championed in that bill.

And if there is any case for instroducing a majority of the Supreme Communists of the United States (SCOTUS) to Dr. Tarr and Mr. Fether, it is that they did not strike this law down, spit on it, sow salt in the ground that it sprang from and then burn the ones who framed and passed and signed it.,

Shame on all of them.

And shame on us for letting them get away with it.

“Advice and Consent” ? “Adversarial Dissent”

Scrappleface speaks more truth in jest

Senate Democrats have a serious problem with the language of the Constitution. Their problem is simply that the pesky phrase “Advice and Consent” ? “Adversarial Dissent” (as they seem intent on translating it).

Forget Mass Media Podpeople newsreaders. Trash you copy of The Daily Lies and The New York Slimes. Get your news from Scrappleface. It’s more likely to be accurate, even prescient, as this lil excerpt probably is:

The Massachusetts… Senator’s office issued a news release to the media documenting the allegations against the potential high court judge, with a convenient blank line allowing reporters to fill in the nominee’s name as soon as that information is leaked.
Yup. Just fill in the blank. Any name NOT chosen by the minority party will be unacceptable. Bet on it. (What part of “democracy” do the Senate Democrats not understand? Oh. The part where the LOSERS uhm… LOSE. Anti-democratic Democrats. Now there’s a hint for ya. They stand firmly against the meaning of their own label.)
