Oh! *!#@$%* this summer rash that has me singing the Leprosy Song (“Leprosy, all my skin is falling off of me; now my ankle’s hanging from my knee; oh, leprosy came suddenly. . . “)
Luckily, mowing and weed-eating does eough of a number on my nasal passages and lungs that the other allergens and irritants take a back seat while I’m doing yard work. It’s just later. . .
Oh, well.
Some folks wear a safety mask; just a thought…
Yeh, I do wear a pretty good “face filter” but it’s not enough–especially for other things, like the rash I picked up while mowing last week and the bug bites, etc. And yeh, I know of several commercial and home made insect repellents, too, but. . . didn’t wear any such thing that day. I’ll just wear my t-shirt that says, “Pain is just weakness leaving the body” and apply it to itching, burning and hacking and coughing as well. It won’t exactly help, but it’ll make me appear less whiny. *heh*
