A Tale of Two Vision Centers (still in progress)

Time for new glasses. Oh, not a big difference in vision, but the scratch-resistant coating on these polycarb lenses is wearing off. In patches. *argh* So. . . back at place used for these glasses. Would not (or too incompetent to) find our vision coverage (it was there, and they were “in system,” but the “worker” never looked past the first layer). OK. Went somewhere we’d never used before (and never thought we would—part of a discount place).

O.D. was more thorough than I’d ever experienced, and very helpful. Nice enough. Manager handled my lenses/frames selections very well (though there were two other workers free ¯\_(“/)_/¯ Fo gigure), and included some measurements the other place had not in the past.

Also: 2 pairs (one sunglasses) for $300 less than one pair at other place last time I got glasses. Including the insurance my Wonder Woman suggested (was that a hint? *heh*).

Now, all that’s needed is for the actual glasses (well, polycarbs 😉 ) to come in and be up to the standard that has been set by the workers I interacted with.
