  1. I’m still somewhat amazed at how many folks are up in arms over this. The Federal Government has failed to enforce laws which are on the books and have been for quite some time. Dangerous criminals who happen to be from Mexico and cross our southern border regularly with drugs have taken steps to deprive US citizens of the right to life and property with impunity. These folks in AZ live in fear and the Federal folks have ignored the need for action far too long. I stand with AZ on this one and hope TX does the same thing.

  2. I hope that every American, regardless of where he lives, will stop and examine his conscience about this and other related incidents. This Nation was founded by men of many nations and backgrounds. It was founded on the principle that all men are created equal, and that the rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened. All of us ought to have the right to be treated as he would wish to be treated, as one would wish his children to be treated, but this is not the case.

I know the proponents of this law say that the majority approves of this law, but the majority is not always right. Would women or non-whites have the vote if we listen to the majority of the day, would the non-whites have equal rights (and equal access to churches, restaurants, hotels, retail stores, schools, colleges and yes water fountains) if we listen to the majority of the day? We all know the answer, a resounding, NO!

Today we are committed to a worldwide struggle to promote and protect the rights of all who wish to be free. In a time of domestic crisis men of good will and generosity should be able to unite regardless of party or politics and do what is right, not what is just popular with the majority. Some men comprehend discrimination by never have experiencing it in their lives, but the majority will only understand after it happens to them.

    1. Throwing the bullshit flag on your comment, “benito”. Alien invaders (those who circumvent the laws of this land and enter illegally, engage in identity theft, etc.) are the problem. They have they right to apply to enter legally, just like all the other LEGAL immigrants who enter every year. But no, they are outlaws who disrespect this country with every breath they take, and scumbags like you excuse them by lying fecal matter such as your comment.

“Now, go away or I shall taunt you a second time-a,” asshat.

  3. You know if conservatives were as silly as the various anti-conservative forces we might try an anti-boycott. “I know! Let’s go buy up all of the Arizona Iced Tea! — what do you mean it’s made in New York?”

  4. Love it love it love it. Not just for the message, but I have always loved the war posters that image was made with. (As you have witnessed on my blog logo).

  5. Benito,

I’m curious. Do you leave your doors unlocked when you leave the house? Do you leave all of your most valuable possessions piled upon the coffee table in the living room with bright lamps lit so that they can be seen through your open windows? Do you tell your neighbors that if they see someone skulking about your house to offer to help them carry away your possessions?
This is what you and others like you are suggesting that we do with our borders, our jobs, and the lives and safety of property owners living on the southern border of Arizona, and Texas.
“Let anyone in” whether they come into the country in violation of constitutionally authorized federal law (that’s right, those same immigrants and people of varied backgrounds that you speak of charged Congress with writing laws governing the immigration and naturalization of citizens of other nations into our country), or not. Punish ranchers that defend their lives and properties from invaders that would use their homes as a base of operations – in some cases even killing the property owners. Call the police that arrest a man that crosses over the border illegally and rapes a woman in the streets of Phoenix racists. Insist instead that they should help that beast to find the nearest hospital to get a test to make sure he didn’t catch a venereal disease from his victim – at taxpayers expense.
Every one of these things has been suggested by proponents of “immigration” as they call it, but really it’s just another word for breaking and entering.
I have no problems with people that obey our laws and follow the legal process to become residents of this country. My great-grandparents came in that way. Some of the best, most civically aware citizens I know are naturalized citizens. But illegal immigrants thumb their noses at the rest of us, flout our laws and the current federal government ignores its own laws to aid them in this lawlessness. Is it any wonder Arizona has had to take matters into its own hands to protect the lives, health, and property of its citizens when the federal government that is charged with that duty neglects it?
Your faux compassion for illegal immigrants is really nothing less than condoning lawlessness. Whatever happened to compassion for the victims of illegal immigration and the evils it carries along with it? Whatever happened to protecting and defending the rights of our own citizens?
I guess those things just don’t fit into your agenda of power to the Democratic Party.
