THE most over-rated movie ever may well be “It’s a Wonderful Life.” The best part of the flick? “The End” (and no, I do not mean the ending; I mean the words “The End” at the end *heh*). I can hardly wait to miss it every year. Ham-fisted glurge.

I enjoy that movie. But none of the Christmas movies I see are really about Christ’s birth anyway. They’re just celebrations of the “magic” of a secular consumer holiday.
Or of works.
Yeh, if I watch a Xmas movie, I want it to celebrate the miracle of the Incarnation and center on God’s grace. Magic and schmaltz is anathema to me.
