  1. Having had both .45 and .40 S&W, I prefer the later. It moves down range considerably faster with plenty of knock down power. I used to enjoy the .45 at the range because I could actually watch it travel towards the target, that’s too slow.

    1. But, don’t you need at least 180gr (or 185?) .40 to deliver similar terminal energy transfer to a target? “[P]lenty of knock down power… ” is in the body of the receiver. Personally, if I could handle it (which I can’t, just), I’d prefer the stopping power of a Desert Eagle .50AE, but, nah, notanoption. *heh*

      Of course, one of these carried openly on a sling would possibly preempt the need to fire in a personal safety situation… which would be a Very Good Thing, since it’s DEFINITELY not something to shoot offhand. *LOL*
