Re-imagining Stories Using a Lame Imagination

Saw a few minutes of the Emma Watson “Beauty and the Beast.” *sigh* So very many glaring stupidities in just a few short minutes marred what might have been an entertaining flick.

Lost interest. Buh-bye!

  1. My total experience with Beauty and the Beast is from movies. I enjoyed the animation with Angela Lansbury singing and tolerated the animated remake. My wife watched the one with Emma Watson, but I didn’t.

I know that the story wasn’t originally a Disney cartoon but never was interested enough to dig any further. Hopefully, that doesn’t remove any misconceptions you might have about my alleged literacy.

    1. The basic Beauty and the Beast just follows the standard, “deformed Frenchman seeks love” plot found in Phantom of the Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, et-so-many al.
