  8. Saw that, Bernie. *heh* Amusing. Beer’s one of those things (like capsacin) that’s great for my prostate. A couple a day with meals) are also good for what little brain I have left, my blood pressure and a host of other things.

Of course, if I drank a gallon of American Horse Pi$$ every day, as some pseudo-beer drinkers do, almost all those benefits would be more than negated–all the things beer blesses would then be cursed.

I don’t know that the same could be said for the ingestion of hot peppers, though. There just doesn’t seem to be an upper limit to capsacin consumption. Still looking for a good jalapeño ice cream recipe…

I have found *sigh* a practical upper limit to my coffee consumption, recently. *profound sigh* Despite the many, many health benefits of coffee, apparently, four cups a day have become my new limit. Oh. Well. At least I’m not listening to some damn*ed doctor tell me to limnit myself to two cupsa The Holy Brew a day.

Oh, *heh* indeed… my 80s+ Mom who’s maybe had as many as five glasses of wine in her life just told me she’s sending me a newspaper article on a gentleman who’s started a business in her city selling beer making kits and other supplies for the home brewer. WTG, Mom! 🙂
