Wow, he moved jolly quickly after the intro!
Indeed it seems that way, but it’s mostly just the movement in the piano accompaniment that seems to make it so. The cello work (and the melody when in the piano) is never outside a genuinely singable tempo. These guys are often classed as “New Age” but this piece seems more dramatically Romantic in nature to me.
