I received an email today that contained the following:
If course the Mass MEdia Podpeople Hivemind can see the differences. The point is that the Hivemind hates normal, everyday folks who pay their own way in life and assemble in an orderly fashion to petition their government for a redress of legitimate grievances while showing respect for their country. (It’s that last part that particularly gripes the Hivemind.) The Hivemind despises honest, decent, hardworking, productive citizens.
OTOH, the dirty, disrespectful, “I just came to this ‘protest’ to skip school, score some dope and sex and hack off my parents” Wall Street Occupation dumbasses? The Hivemind’s cuppa tea, folks.
THAT is the point of the Hivemind’s propaganda concerning these two very groups of people.
BTW, how many of these “protesters” in these “spontaneous uprisings” are getting paid for the gig (instead of taking time off and sacrificing income as most of the TEA Party folks did)?
It’d be interesting to know more about just who is funding these things. If we had actual journalists in the Hivemind we might find things like this out, eh?

If the “protesters” acted as politely as the Tea party folk, they could make their point. But making their point is the last thing on their minds, they merely want to destroy. Have them ask Obama about his support from Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan-Chase, Citi Group and Morgan Stanley. Big bucks fellas, go after the REAL Crony Capitalist; Barack Obama
Sure they could, but GM, they don’t have to because the Hivemind will make whatever “points” it wants to using the useful idiots (protesters) as foils. Why not? It did the same by lying about TEA Party gatherings. These spoiled white bread pseudo-protesters will get “good press” no matter what they do; TEA Partygatherings will be vilified (and lied about) no matter how civilized they are. The Zero will slyly encourage these animals and egg on the animosity they express, all the while, as you point out, managing to distract them (“OOO! Bright! Shiny!”) from the fact that he and his partners in crime are THE problem these idiots THINK they’re protesting.
This is what we as a society get when we focus on stroking the self-image of idiots who, instead of learning and doing anything useful, have spent their lives stirring their own frontal lobes with silver spoons (bought for them by their idiot parents, with debt they cannot afford).
