I know this has been beat to death, but it needs to be used to beat something else to political death.

Yeh, yeh, I’ve heard all the excuses about this “mis-speaking” but none of them wash. It doesn’t matter HOW tired or pressured this asshole was, “57” (with one left to go–and specifically excepting Alaska and Hawaii, since he was referring to the contiguous states) is simply not the kind of thing that any American who’s marginally literate would even mistakenly say, because the 48 contiguous States would have been drilled into his unconscious.
No, this “intelligent” Hahvahd-edumacated idiot has only a surface, semi-, transient connection to anything approaching a knowledge of American history and geography, and he’s ruling by fiat from the White House along with fellow Dhimmicrappic conspirators against the Constitution in Congress who are afraid Guam will capsize because of over-population and that “every month that we do not have an economic recovery package 500 million Americans lose their jobs.” (Total US population is somewhere a tad north of 300 Million, even counting children, illegals, retirees and welfare slugs.)
Hmmm, seems innumeracy is rampant in the “Party of Smart People” eh?
Lucy was a poll worker yesterday for early voting in a precinct ‘controlled’ by Sheila Jackson Lee and had more than one idiot show up for the sole purpose of voting for Obama. When told that Obama wasn’t on the ballot they became irate and then confused explaining that was the only reason they showed up. Is it any wonder the country is in the shape it’s in…
*sigh* True horror story: I was at the P.O picking up a package last week. As I stood in line behind a person attempting to purchase a book of stamps ($8.80 or some such), I realized that this person’s vote counted the same as mine. They handed the postal worker $2 and expected change back. It took the postal worker a full five minutes to get through to the idiot that no, their $2 was NOT sufficient to purchase $8.80 in stamps and no, they could NOT get change back from $2 on an $8.80 purchase. After finally coughing up the rest, the postal patron walked out to her car (yes! a driver’s license as well!!!) muttering about getting ripped off.
And people like this can vote.

People who refuse to even learn to count (and genuine idiots, whose idiocy is caused by physiological damage, etc., can learn simple addition and subtraction, though it’s more than likely difficult) are just the tip of the iceberg. Self-lobotomized LAZY, self-made idiot “citizens” are even worse.
