Looked into the video a little more. Turns out it’s from 2008 (?unclear). Folks actually sell software and hardware (IR pens, Wiimote clamps) to do this using Wiimotes now. I’d probably still prefer to hack something together, just for the fun of it. Heck, I could just replace the LED in one of my single-LED flashlights for the “pen” part of it. The projector… hmmm, don’t have one of those, but they’re not that expensive anymore.
