A bit underwhelmed at an “auto-update” notice telling me the WP version here has gone through w/o any action from me. Last time I got one, I ended up locked out of my WP Admin pages for a while. Apparently not this time, though.

If I were at all interested in putting in the minimal effort to search out the reasons for this behavior (or even my own behavior–being too lazy to do the search *heh*), I might track down whatever’s changed to allow this apparent autoupdate behavior, but. . . nah.
Auto-update is at least slightly more reliable than auto-correct, but the cost of failure can be so much higher.
Indeed, Perri. I have at least instituted a better backup solution for this lil blog after the last update “oopsie.”
